Description
The Bioscanner is a tool that allows you to gain familiarity with flora and fauna native to Galatea 37. Gaining familiarity will unlock Bestiary entries for the appropriate creature, and familiarity with some species will unlock research nodes on the Alien Research branch of the Research Tree.
How to use
PC = Press the middle mouse button.
Console = Press LB+RB
When the green beam appears, the player can scan entities that are highlighted in a green shimmer.
You need to scan objects until they are finished - any interruption in the process forces a restart of the scan.
